| Who
Benefits: |
The Certificate in Drugs Awareness
is largely aimed at those who may not have a specific substance misuse
function but who still need to achieve a good grounding in general drugs
awareness because of possible contacts with users, enabling them to provide an initial
response.
This may benefit a range of people, such as generic social
and health professionals, youth workers, community groups,
parents, carers and volunteers. This course may
also aid teachers, police officers, prison officers, support
staff within drugs agencies and all those seeking to
understand and apply the principles of drug awareness
training. However, for those with a specific substance
misuse function our
Level 3
programme may be more appropriate.
