About People in Vision

People in Vision offer high quality training at different levels to provide progressive learning options, from shorter seminars to nationally accredited certificate programmes (at levels 2 and 3). Other programmes, such as short drugs training seminars, are currently in development. Please contact us for latest updates.

The variety of our training courses ideally suit people in the community with interest in drugs related issues, as well as those who wish to specialise professionally in this field.
Aim:
Our aim can be summed up in the phrase:
'Helping to build a safer community through drugs awareness and substance misuse training.'
The Focus:
People in Vision is a not-for-profit organisation, offering quality training in the area of Drugs Awareness and Substance Misuse at progressive levels, to meet the needs of agencies and individuals who have an interest in the field.

The focus is to raise the level of Drugs Awareness within the community, to equip professionals who help individuals with substance problems and to encourage ex-users to become participants in the reduction of substance related harm to individuals and society.
Working in Partnership:
People in Vision work in partnership with local, regional and national bodies, including Drug Action Teams, Connexions, NACRO, Community Safety Partnerships, Prison services and the Police. Agencies use our training programmes for both staff and client groups in their particular area of service.

Co-operation between People in Vision and agencies concerned can be arranged at different levels to suit requirements. People in Vision also aim to help identify and utilise funding sources specifically designated to this important area of education.
Sponsored:
The work of People in Vision is sponsored and supported by NCC Resources Ltd (formerly: Project Initiatives), who have vast experience in producing and managing a range of educational programmes and courses.
